Nipple Surgery
This procedure is performed to reconstruct the nipple following the breast reconstruction surgeries performed by the plastic surgeons in patients who underwent mastectomy due to breast cancer.
Before Surgery
Collection of detailed patient anamnesis, patient examination, collection of the individual’s expectations, information about the surgery, preoperative photographing, and postoperative evaluation of the results are performed. No tests are required.
Surgery
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and clinic settings. Your own tissue on the reconstructed breast is folded with appropriate methods to create a 3-dimensional nipple.
After Surgery
The operation site is kept closed for 24 hours after the repair; one may take a bath using special bands afterwards. No workforce loss in induced. The stitches are removed at the end of the first week. The dark area around the nipple is created using tattooing methodology 2-3 months after the procedure.
