Hip Augmentation - Rene Clinic

Hip Augmentation

Hip Augmentation By Implant

Hip augmentation is the procedure of changing the shape of the hip and increasing hip sizes using prosthesis implants, fat injections, or both. Those who think their hip size is small, are not satisfied with the shape and symmetry of their hip, and those with realistic expectations are all eligible for this procedure.Hip surgery with prosthesis implant is used for those who are dissatisfied with the size of their hips.

Before Surgery
Collection of detailed patient anamnesis, patient examination, collection of the individual’s expectations, information about the surgery, preoperative photographing, postoperative evaluation of the results, and the necessary analyses and tests are performed.

Surgery
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and the procedures required to obtain a natural appearance are performed through the incision made between the hip folds within approximately 1-2 hours. Prosthesis is placed into the pouch that is opened in the sublayer of gluteus maximum muscle, i.e. the largest muscle in the hip. The procedure exactly resembles the breast enlargement surgery. However, it utilizes prosthesis with denser contents. The prosthesis is not palpable, as it is placed under the muscle and has a thick fat layer over itself.

After Surgery
Feeding starts in a short time. A special corset is used for approximately 2-3 weeks. Drains are inserted, and removed 3-5 days later. One may take a bath 2 days after the removal of drains. Lying on back and side is recommended for the first days. Sitting on hip for a long time should be avoided for 1 week. Going back to work may occur after 1-2 weeks; light exercise may take place after 3-4 weeks, whereas heavy exercise after 6-8 weeks. Bruises and swelling may occur in the hip area and last for approximately 2-3 weeks. Complete recovery is observed at the end of a period of 6 months to 1 year. (The period of time may vary as per the procedures involved in the hip procedures).

Hip Augmentation By Fat Injection

Hip augmentation is the procedure of changing the shape of the hip and increasing hip sizes using prosthesis implants, fat injections, or both. Those who think their hip size is small, are not satisfied with the shape and symmetry of their hip, and those with realistic expectations are all eligible for this procedure. It is used to make the hip gain volume and also for those who are dissatisfied with the shape of their hips by the help of fat injections.

Hip Augmentation By Composite

Hip augmentation is the procedure of changing the shape of the hip and increasing hip sizes using prosthesis implants, fat injections, or both.  Those who think their hip size is small, are not satisfied with the shape and symmetry of their hip, and those with realistic expectations are all eligible for this procedure. The combination of prosthesis implant and fat injection is used for hip deformity and to obtain bigger hips. The information and periods of time specified for both procedures are completely applicable. The process involves the application of both procedures in the same session.Hip augmentation is the procedure of changing the shape of the hip and increasing hip sizes using prosthesis implants, fat injections, or both.
