A special corset is used for 4-6 weeks. One may get back to work within a week. Light daily activities may be performed in the early period. Heavy activities are allowed after 1 month.

Side Effects 

There may be unwanted effects depending on the general anesthesia or surgery. Wound healing problems related to tightness, irregularities, or permanent scars may occur in the wound site.
